What They Could Improve:
Although the Fuego is an amazing freshwater reel, I’d like to see a slightly larger spool capacity for handling heavier lines, a pitch and flipping switch to allow for controlled deep drop fishing (like the accurist), and I’d really love for this reel to mimic it’s saltwater spinning reel cousin (the Fuego Spinning Reel LT) and have the magseal system to protect the internal components of the reel. I’ve been fishing with Diawa baitcaster reels for years for largemouth bass and they have never failed me. I just like all my gear being versatile to saltwater and freshwater fish, but I’m being picky here.
