Although rated for 22lbs of drag many of the light components of the reel, like the reel base and reel handle will bend and even in extreme cases break under a lot of pressure. Now this can be mitigated by setting your drag correctly, but in times where you do need to put a lot of heat on a big fish the lighter materials may be an issue.
