The Jigging World Black Demon Rods are a powerhouse choice for intermediate and advanced anglers targeting hard fighting and hard hitting fish. Jigging World Black Demon rods are another incredibly versitile rod that can be used for just about anything given the amount of attention to detail and technology Jigging World has put into these rods. The Black Demon utilizes state of the art technology to wrap these rods in a way that gives fishalots an action that is normally associated with extremely high end rods. This same action was also achieved (back in the day) by fiberglass rods that were ridiculously heavy (these rods are half the weight of its predecessors). As stated before the moderate action on this graphite rod is amazing and will allow the fishalot to handle large species of hard fighting fish without tiring due to the extreme parabolic bend under a load. This rod also allows for more solid hook sets and hook holds, and will of course allow a fishalot to land more fish due to less thrown hooks (all advantages that extra fast action rods don’t have). The Black Demon Rods have really become a go-to rod for many fishalots targeting a multitude of species. On my channel you can see this rod in action for big Blackfish, Striped Bass, Black Sea Bass, deep dropping fluke, big blue catfish, and even 80lb black drum fish in extreme currents.
